Being in a tremendously large family, with 26 cousins, you start babysitting the family when you turn 14, so I have been around babies all the way to middle school-aged children. I would take care of my friends babies that they had in high school, to help support the mother in getting her diploma, I have also assisted my sister when she was a nanny. I have a little step brother as well that I had to babysit from the ages of 6-9 years old, until they got a nanny. I love children, and seeing them grow and success with school. I just know that I am helping a family take a little bit of the load off and can provide help, which is why i do it.
