Emma N.
Babysitter in Chicago, IL
I've been a full time, midwestern nanny for nearly ten years. My patience, energy, and enthusiasm for tiny humans is unmatched. Knowledge of child development, communication, and organization are my strong suits. I offer reliability, flexibility, and nurturing nature that never ends.
I am creative, energetic, patient. passionate/compassionate, humorous, emotionally intelligent, socially aware, peaceful, playful, reliable, communicative, imaginative and organized. I aim to be sunshine in the lives of my families.
Having been a teacher, I’ve found that being fortunate enough to work with children on a personal level is so much more rewarding. Nanny life truly allows me to work creatively and to meet the children where they’re at.
I believe to my core that children are magic. They are a constant reminder of how wonderful & beautiful the world is, how important it is to PLAY, and really enjoy experiences for what they are (no matter how simple or complex) They’re tiny little scientists, and watching them explore, experiment, learn, and figure out who and what they will become is amazing.
I love working with new parents and starting with children when they’re infants. Aside from the joy I feel watching babies grow and develop, I feel that I have the most to offer first time parents. My knowledge of inclusive postpartum care, infant milestones, chest to bottle to solids transitions, sleep patterns, sensory play etc is deeply beneficial for my families past and present.
I appreciate a home with good energy. It’s so important for us to be on one accord, engaging in communication openly and often, and working together for a calm, creative, fun, and organized environment.
I’m excited and ready to explore opportunities beyond what Chicago has graciously offered me these past ten years.
