I began babysitting at the age of 12 for local babies, toddlers, and elementary aged kids. I began a career in early childhood education out of high school in 2017. I was the lead toddler teacher and assistant director of a preschool for 2 years. I was then the Office Admin for The Goddard School for a little under 2 years where I was heavily involved in not just day to day administration tasks of the office, but also involved in classroom organization and teacher development and training. I have had or renewed my Adult & Infant CPR & First Aid Training 3 times and have successfully used it once saving an infant from choking on a rubber band. I currently hold a position not involved with children which has left me longing for the interactions again. I find joy in not just the presence of children, but in teaching & showing them new things, and allowing them to teach me as well. I believe in the sanctity of a young child’s mental well being as the first 3 years of a child’s life are the most important. Because of this, I take pride in fostering positive, uplifting, secure, and supportive relationships with every child so they grasp the proper skills and confidence to move in the world as they grow.
