I grew up the oldest out of 19 grandchildren in a very tight knit family, 4 of them being my younger siblings. I was always designated babysitter, whether it was over night or early in the mornings. Throughout High School, I actively babysat for our neighborhood frequently being the oldest and came to really love working with children. Aside from just babysitting/nannying, as an Emergency Medical Technician I have worked with many children ranging from just hours old to 17 years and of all different situations. I have worked in the hospital many times, my EMT clinicals were based at Off Campus Emergency Departments and I worked in the Emergency Department of a bigger hospital for about 2 months. My favorite part about being a babysitter/nanny is finding fun educational arts and crafts for the kiddos. I love to be interactive doing things like exploring the outdoors and finding fun interactive activities to do throughout the day, bringing my knowledge from the EMS world into a home, being a part of your child’s routine and becoming a significant person in their lives, and I love providing parents a safe, comfortable person to look after their children. I am looking for a change of pace while i’m in Nursing school! Aside from healthcare, I love to hang out with my 2 dogs Keena (1) and Shiloh (3), hangout with my family, and hang out on a beach!
I am a trained and currently active Emergency Medical Technician and have been in this role for almost 2 years. I am also actively in school to become a Nurse.
