Ava I.
Dear Recruiters,
So first of all, I should explain that although my resume lacks the evidence that says something, I have at least 3 years of experience in childcare, if not, many more. I grew up with 15 much younger cousins, who all, I helped raise, change, feed, bathe, and spent time watching and sitting with, at some point in each of their lives. Specifically, I nannied for my two baby cousins who were around 7 months up to...roughly 16 months, and her sister, who was roughly 2 and 3. I literally love kids, spend 10 minutes watching me interact with your children, I'm just a big kid inside, and all kids realize my sweetness and empathy within minutes of meeting. I also was working self employed, working for a family for the past year. I recently parted ways with them when they moved out of town, and that is why I am looking for a new nanny position. I've literally never had a bad interaction or a memory I wasn't fond of, with a child, literally ever. Not once. No kid has ever cried in my arms for longer than maybe 20 minutes, because they missed their mom. I'm 25 now, but I used to be a little girl who had horrible separation anxiety, and I know exactly what to do when that happens. Every child is different challenge, you just have to cater to their specific needs challenge, find their sweet spot, and assist them in opening themselves up to a new friend, in myself. I spent majority of my life working as a CNA (nurse aide), and in the process of schooling to become a nurse. That didn't work out for me, because it was too much stress, and I took my work home with me, which I did not wear well, and I wasn't ultimately happy at all, doing that. I loved helping the elderly, I love my elderly folks, however, I never was really book smart, I actually really struggled in school, and believe me when I say everything happens for a reason, because I never finished nursing school, I felt lost the past couple years, and then I applied to be a nanny with a company, recently, I got the job, and they literally adore me, and I found my calling... finally. I challenge you to step outside of your comfort zone, and give a new face a chance at making a difference in your lives. I will give all of my attention to your children, at all times. They will never question whether I care, or wonder if they're being heard. I listen, I care, and I totally have the compassion, empathy, and sense of understanding that your kids needs to feel comfortable, and to always know that they matter, to you, and to me. Give me at least an hour, maybe even just 30 minutes... to show you the many reasons why I deserve to be a part of your family, and in turn, I promise to never let you regret letting me into your life. I'll make a difference, for the best possible outcome, in the lives of your children. I promise you I have 3 references who can definitely verify my experience working with children and in childcare, I swear, you can check. You just have to trust that I'll show you the rest of my skills, upon being let in the door. Also, I’m currently working with a nanny company, so I have plenty of experience through my job, also.
