Hello! I am a very trustworthy and motivated 22 year old woman who is passionate about making a difference in the world by working with today's youth and supporting their emotional and cognitive development. I am a recent college graduate from the University of Connecticut, with a Bachelor's in Human Development Family Sciences. My long term career goal is to work as an educator and/or family marriage therapist. I have a passion for working with children of all ages in both an educational and at-home setting; I enjoy meeting new people and learning new things.
My experience working with children is diverse - I have worked in multiple classrooms over the past 5 years as well as nannied for two different families while attending college. My first experience in the classroom was volunteering for a second grade teacher my senior year of high school; I helped assist her with lessons, preparing worksheets and tests, and tutored students who needed extra support. Since this one encounter I have tutored high school students, substituted in an elementary school, volunteered in a Pre-K, worked as a teacher assistant for Kindergarten, and nannied.
