I was a nanny before covid and I absolutely loved it. I was a nanny for 3 boys (5, 3, and 7 months). I would get them fed, dressed, and the oldest off on the bus in the morning. I would keep them entertained and safe. Days off of school I would take them to the park or an activity.
I was an assistant teacher at a daycare with 18 months-3 years olds. No two days were the same. Keeping them safe and engaged in activities. Keeping hands for helping. Redirecting behavior. Giving them food. Changing diapers. Cleaning the toys. Comforting them as they would fall asleep for nap.
