Mamy's Daycare

My children are older now. Angilynn started with Mamy's Day Care when she was about two years old. We had just left another daycare that was typically fine with Angilynn, but that last day they locked her by herself in a room with a TV. That previous daycare owner had just given ...Read morebirth and became overprotective of her baby, so thought it would be fine to let my child cry by herself in a small room. My heart broke, and I could still see my baby girl crying. I was desperate to find someone new. Back in 2006, the internet wasn't as thriving as it is now with Yelp and all kinds of social media options to help find a reliable licensed home daycare. I somehow hunted from mommy to mommy to find Mamy's Day Care. Nayibe, the owner, came highly recommended. This was still just literally word of mouth. Time was of the essence to find someone immediately because I was not going to bring Angilynn back to that crazy woman who was obviously suffering from postpartum depression. As a healthcare provider and a mother of three, I'm completely empathetic towards people who suffer from mental health issues. 30%+ of my patients suffer from mental health issues. Having said that, as a licensed childcare provider, I expect these professionals to keep their mental health in check because our greatest assets are under their care. Nothing is more important to me than my family. Fortunately, Nayibe was EXACTLY WHAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR. Nayibe and her staff took wonderful care of Angilynn from age 2 until she was in school full time. We love Nayibe so much that she took care of Angilynn's little sister, Anais, from the moment she was old enough to go into daycare. There's a six-year difference between my kids, so Angilynn had her own set of friends at Mamy's Day Care. Anais also loved being there. We NEVER had a negative issue at Mamy's Day Care. It was always a pleasant and loving experience. Nayibe always went above and beyond to make sure that the kids felt secure, loved, well-fed, warm and happy. Anais also stayed there until it was time to go to school. I don't know if Max, her dog is still there, but I hope that he is. Max was so gentle with the kids. If you're a dog lover, then you should feel secure with Max. Nayibe had him since a puppy. Nothing to worry about. Nayibe took amazing care of my daughters for about 10 years.
