My childcare will have a "homey" feel, with a chance for children of many different ages to interact and learn from each other. Children will have an opportunity to learn in a structured environment using a parent aware approved curriculum, as well as plenty of opportunities to learn through free play and exploration of the environment. We use the FunShine Curriculum & Creative Curriculum to plan for and support the early learning and development of children in our program. My childcare is in my home and children can learn to be comfortable in my home and with me as the constant, primary childcare provider. My approach is that I should use kindergarten readiness best practices but that I also provide personal care, and loving care to each child as an individual.
