At Gems Academy Child Care, we provide a warm, loving, and nurturing home-based environment where children feel safe, valued, and cared for—just like family. Our licensed home daycare was created out of a genuine love for caring for children and helping them grow with confidence, kindness, and curiosity.
The owner is a bachelor’s degree holder in Nursing and brings a caring, patient, and attentive approach to every child’s daily experience. As parents of two children ourselves, we understand how important it is to find a childcare provider who treats your little ones with the same love, respect, and attention you would give them at home.
We follow a Montessori-inspired curriculum that encourages independence, creativity, social development, and a lifelong love of learning. Through daily hands-on activities, structured play, early learning, and meaningful interaction, we help children build strong social, emotional, behavioral, and academic foundations. Our goal is to prepare each child to be fully ready for transitional kindergarten or kindergarten with the knowledge, confidence, and practical wisdom they develop every day.
We also provide meals and place special emphasis on freshly prepared, home-style meals whenever possible, rather than relying on frozen or packaged foods. We believe healthy meals, a caring environment, and engaging learning experiences all work together to support a child’s growth and happiness.

I am passionate about providing high-quality childcare in a safe, loving, and engaging home environment. With a bachelor’s degree in Nursing, along with First Aid, CPR, and nursing assistance certifications, I bring a strong focus on safety, health, and attentive care.

Gems Academy Child Care Simi Valley is a home daycare created to spark creativity and learning in a clean space. For your convenience and safety, our home includes a driveway for parking. We also have dedicated areas for learning and activities that include a backyard, a nap room, and a reading area.
