As a childcare provider, I want to provide a fun, safe, and happy place for children to learn and grow. I get on the floor with the kids to encourage block building, dramatic play, art, music, science, math, reading, writing and outside play to stimulate running, climbing, swinging and bike riding. I use a curriculum from Funshine Express with fun books and games to learn numbers, colors and to plan for and support chidren's early learning in my program.I feel my childcare is unique because I have a large basement that I use for my business and it is colorful and full of toys. Winters get very long here in MN and so I have a small loft with a slide to play on indoors. The kids love it!
