Angelika C.
Hi. Let me introduce myself. My nick name is Koko. I was born in America, but both my parents are from Japan so I went to both American school Monday thru Friday and Japanese school (hoshuko) on Saturday. Saturday school is where I leaned about the Japanese cultures and Japanese education. I lived in Great Neck my whole life. I went to Lakeville school, Great Neck South Middle and High School. After graduating, I went to Nassau Community College and got my associates in office technology and then transferred to Farmingdale University and got my bachelor in business management. All my job experience was with kids. Since high school I interned at Parkville school (Pre-K), then I was teaching Japanese girl who was in Kindergarden, English and helping with her homework. Then I've been working at Clasp (day care) in Great Neck and then Farmingdale Day Care. Taking care of kids from 6 month to Pre-K. While I was going to Farmingdale College, I was also working at the day care on campus, so when I was stressed from taking the exams, midterms, and saw those adorable kids faces, they made my stress go away and forgot all about the grades what I was going to get. It was the best thing ever. I love interacting with kids, reading to them, and singing to them. Kids are the best. I love being around them. They make me happy.
