Truthfully I've been taking care of other children since I was most definitely too young probably. Over a year employed as a swim instructor for children. I've learned pool safety, CPR, standard steps for emergencies, heimlich. I've been a part time nanny for three years(2018-2021) and have kept their place nice and tidy to provide relief from their working parents. Even got kids, including the youngest to start helping when I'm not there. Taught some basic skills here and there. Created games for the youngest to make cleaning his "colorful" room less overwhelming. It's incredible to see smiles on parents and kids faces due to a little more free time together without being dominated by chores.
