I have no formal training here, to be frank. But I come from a large family where I’m the oldest of 12 grandchildren and I’ve spent my life helping raise them. The youngest are an eight-year-old girl, a ten-year-old boy, and two twin girls who are turning six this upcoming May. One of the twins has diabetes and we’ve become closer as a family due to it. I feel very comfortable taking care of children, especially ones coming out of rough environments (the aforementioned boy was previously in the foster care system and the adoption was finalized last year).
