I am a college student currently in the process of majoring in Liberal Studies, which includes taking classes of child development. I would say I am fairly educated in child development and children in general to qualify for a nanny job. I have been a nanny for over 4 years with close family members. On top of that I am a mom to a 2 year old, being a mother has shown me all the good and and bad when it comes to children. I am a very patient person. I like to treat children as a person, many times children are overlooked but I have always been a believer that children deserve the same respect you would with an adult. They deserve one’s attention and respect to be understood. This doesn’t only positively change one’s relationship with the child, but this will also helps within the child’s development.
